Oh what fun!!!

I love December!! I haven't enjoyed the snow. We live right next to Zeke's Elementry and boy, it just isn't worth the gas or the effort to drive over to the school. But walking in the 0-10 degree weather hasn't been fun either. But not only is it good exercise for me but we don't waste gas. But the elements aren't in our favor sometimes.

Christmas is different this year. We aren't going to my family's, and we have different priorites with money. We went in with Brig's family to split a cow for meat. So this weekend my sister-in-law is bringing back 900 lbs of beef. We get 300 lbs of it. I am so excited to have that much meat (not sure if I have enough room), but it's made Christmas different because instead of putting 300 dollars into Christmas we put it to the meat. So, Christmas is smaller this year than what I'm use to. But I got my box of presents from my mom today and we have hiding presents that my grandma had for us, so there will still be a lot of presents under the tree. We gave the kids 2 gifts, and really, with everyone else's contribution not to mention the presents my kids got over Thanksgiving, we are so blessed.

So I'm 17 weeks pregnant and getting pretty excited about it. Again I'm hoping for a girl, and Brig's hoping for a boy. The PA said that I must have an onery one because he couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler for a bit. He really had to search. But it was there loud and strong. He also said that I am still down 8 pounds since I first came in. So I'm doing extrememly well in the weight department. I've been feeling great and am super greatful for a husband who is really making sure I don't work to hard. When I've done major cleaning he comes home greatful for my working hard but then he tells me I'm grounded to resting for the rest of the night. Oh, well, I told him that he's gonna be my coach this time around and he's taking it seriously. The last 2 labors I'd listen to the nurse better than Brigham and since I don't know the nurses or the hospital this time he's taking responsiblity of being my coach so we can have a great experience. I'm excited.

We had our Christmas party with the ward and here are the pictures of the kids with Santa.

Zeke was more interested in the bag of candy than Santa but we all know the priorities! LOL Kizzy asked for a big bag of candy, he asked about a doll and she said no just candy. Silly kids.

Thank you all again for your love and support. I'm feeling really blessed right now. Thank you all.

Thanksgiving!

We had such a good trip over Thanksgiving. I was able to keep my stomach under control, and keep well rested. Brigham was wonderful at making sure I got enough water and rest. I some how didn't gain any weight over Thanksgiving. I had 2 dinners one at mom's and one at dads and I still didn't gain.

I really enjoyed being near my Dad and Marsha, what sweet examples of how to have your marriage. They truely enjoy being near one another. They just have an aura about them that screams happiness. We got to celebrate Christmas there and it was wonderful to see Jason and his girls, Jessi, Deanna, and Keegan and his wife Bethany. Oh, and their sweet baby girl of 2 1/2 months Nevaeh. I'm glad that we are already pregnant because being around that sweet baby and smelling those sweet baby smells and seeing the sweet spirit made me want one so much. My dad has lost about 80 lbs and looks so good. He no longer can say that his belly is bigger than the pregnant women. I appreciate how much time and effort my dad puts into each of my kids. Zeke will sit on his lap and Kizzy loves to play with him.

We also had a great time at my Mom's. Brig and I wanted to do something to help their situation. (Neither of them {My mom and Rich} have had a job in a while) We couldn't afford to buy them a bunch of food or anything like that so instead we took time to cut and split wood so they could burn in the woodstove. Brigham would cut it with the chainsaw and I would make sure it was stacked until Brigham said I was working to hard so he made me just put wood on his "Log" that he was cutting on so he didn't have to search for the next peices. Nate would split any peice of wood that was too big to fit it the woodstove. He was awesome. Sometimes we would ask if he needed help and he would buck up and say no. He did pretty much all but one or two peices without Brig's or Keegan's help. For being only 14 I was so impressed with how much he's grown. We had alot of fun playing different games and talking with my mom and family. We also had a bit of sadness going through some of Grandma Lois's stuff. She died in May but it still seemed fresh looking through her stuff.

I don't know how I ended up going to Boise for 6 days and not take many pictures. The only one worth showing (kizzy took alot of nonsense pictures) is one of Kizzy holding Nevaeh.

Sorry it's so dark my camra flash died.

Baby Names

I have never been good at guessing the sex of the baby. With Zeke I wanted a boy and he was a boy. Kizzy I wanted a boy and I got a girl. I want a girl and I bet it'll be a boy! LOL

Brigham and I have been using family names in the kids' names. Zedekiah Louis,(after my maternal great grandfather) McKenzie Rose, (after Brig's paternal great grandmother). This time around we are using names from my Dad's side of the family. Some ideas are:
~Cecelia ~Celestia ~Allen
~Gretta ~George (or Georgia) ~Lynn

So far Brigham has made a stand on saying he's not going to look at names till we know the sex of the baby but here are a few names that we've talked about that we actually agree on.
~Alexis ~Calliope or Kalliope

Here are some names that I absolutely love!!
Girl
~Aleese or Aleece ~Piper ~Reyne ~Chloe or Kloe ~Amelia ~Autumn ~ Arizona ~Amilyn ~Tansy ~Violet ~Wynter ~Kachiri ~Zafrina ~Stella ~Azalea ~Georgia ~Aspen ~Summer

Boy
~Teagen ~Tayte ~Blayne ~Cedric ~Trayten ~Eleazar ~Keenan ~Ryder ~Jesse

So far not alot of boy names. I just can't seem to find any that I like. We will see what happens.

Ultrasound pictures

Finally got the scanner to work! Isn't it funny that when Brigham is around everything works and when he's gone I can't get the electronics to work? LOL

Here is the baby (blob as Brig calls it) at 8 weeks.

Here is the baby at 12 weeks and 6 days. It's 66 mm (2.5 inches) long. It's got it's arm up by it's face. It's a 3D image so it looks different.

13 weeks!!

So we are 13 weeks and I'm finally getting a bit excited!! We went into the doctors appointment was instantly in love with our doctor. He is a great LDS man who is going to be great to work with. When they (medical intern was there as well) tried to hear the heartbeat they weren't able to hear it. The doctor said that this is fairly normal considering we aren't that far along.(The medical intern said it was because I was fat!) We ended up talking about weight at that point. I have lost about 10 pounds being pregnant so far but he says he only wants me to gain 10 pounds. Ten Pounds!! That isn't very much. I got my labor records from wyoming and realized that Kizzy was heavier than I thought when she was born she was 7lbs 13 oz. So if I have another baby that size, then you add in placenta and all that other stuff, 10 pounds isn't very much! So I've decided to watch it a little bit. I figure if I stay between 15-20 I'll be very proud of myself. Back to baby, we ended up having to get an ultrasound to hear the baby's heart beat, 165 for anyone who is interested. The baby is 66 milimeters about 2.5984 inches, and so far has 2 arms and 2 legs and looks healthy according to the dumb intern and the ultrasound tech.

Been extremely tired lately it seems like I can't get enough sleep. Poor Kizzy has been so bored being home with me lately because I keep having to go take small cat naps. She luckly is a good kid and doesn't care much.

We got the kid's school pictures!! They are so cute!

Zeke has had a few problems hitting at school. It's extremely frustrating because the school wants immediate answers. But come to find out the school is making his aid's life hard. They won't let her reinforce him, they won't give her a quite space for him to calm down in, and the teacher seems to be unwilling to help. I have a meeting with the school in December but it's really hard as a mom to be told that your kid has problems and I have to fix it. Really the only fixes are to hog tie him at school, give him extra medicine to knock him out during school, or to find ways to make school better for him. He needs reinforced when he does good things, he needs a quiet place in case he is starting to escalate. Hopefully we can find answers.

Brigham and I have been putting an engine together. It was much more fun than I expected it to be. I don't know all the specs on the engine but I understand a little bit better what my husband talks about when he works on engines at work. I helped with the pistons, camshaft, crankshaft, the timing chain, the rods, the barrings and gaskets, Boy it just seems like we did a ton. We can paint the block and oilpan and other parts (don't ask I'm not sure! LOL) and I chose and awesome color of lime green. The Blazer that we are putting it in is red so I probably should have picked a different color but this is one of my favorite colors.

Thanks to all who have been extremely supportive of this pregnancy. I really have been anti having any more kids and was in total shock that we are pregnant. It has been really nice having family and friends tell me that I can do it. I'm not sure how yet with Zeke and all of his issues, but Kizzy will be 5 in January and should be a huge help. She already helps out so much with Zeke. But anyway thanks to all who haven't torn us apart for being pregnant again.

Finally Back!!

It has been a couple of crazy months!! Let's recap:

August:
I quite my job. Now a stay at home mom!! Boy is that a challenge!!

September:
Entered 2 cakes and 1 gumpaste flower into the fair. Didn't win anything but had a ton of fun. My dad came to visit, and I really enjoyed visiting the Temple visiting center and the Titanic exibit ath thte museum.

Started getting sick the end of October and realized that I was LATE!!! Took a pregnancy test on the 30th and low and behold POSITIVE!!

October:
Still nauseaus, tired! I didn't realize that you can be so tired!

We found the cutest costumes for Zeke and Kizzy!! Kizzy is Cinderella and Zeke is Superman. Zeke loves the Superman costume. The cape especially!

Went to the doctor on the 19th and found out through ultrasound that we are 8 weeks along.

November:
Happy anniversary!! We have been married for 7 years! I just can't believe we have been married that long!

I turned 28. That sounds so old! I'm only a year younger than my mom!! LOL

Second week of November and I'm finaly not feeling sick!! We are 12 weeks along now and expecting another appointment super soon!!

Life has taken a ton of ups and downs!! But in all we are super excited for what the Lord has blessed us with.

Tired of being Blah!

We have had tons of fun the past two weeks.

Brigham went to Montana for training. Kizzy and Zeke are playing well with each other. Zeke had his first argument!! We got a couch (someone in the ward realized we didn't have one. Not that I wanted a couch but it was delivered anyway. It's easier not to have one. Zeke thinks he needs to jump on them!)! Cori delivered a wedding cake she made!! Will post pictures!

Now the not so fun. I have been extremely nauseaus the past 2 1/2 weeks as well as extrememly tired. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests which have all come out as negative. So I finally have gone into the Nurse Practioner who did a pregnancy test and a Urine Anaylsis to see if I had a bladder infection. Well I don't. So next the tested the H. Pylori in my blood to see if I had a bacteria that can cause ulcers. Well that came back negative as well. So now the FNP (family nurse practitioner) thinks that maybe my IUD (birth control) is causing problems and wants to remove it. My biggest fear in removing the birth control is getting pregnant. But we all know how to prevent the problem, so I guess I'll have to practice self control. :) I go in to the FNP tomorrow to see if the IUD is the problem. I just am extremely tired of being sick and tired. Will keep you all posted!!

Where is my life headed?

Have you ever thought about where your life is heading? Lately I feel like I'm at an invisible fork in the road. I'm working on quitting my job. Trying to get someone hired and trained before I leave (she doesn't know I'm going yet), and I've been job hunting or at least thinking about options of what to do with my life. I've really been feeling like I should exlpore the cake route more. But I feel #1 I'm not good enough yet and #2 That it's a huge risk. I don't enjoy the CNA work anymore. I'm good at it and enjoy helping people but I'm not sure that it's what I want to be spending my life doing. I don't have any huge desicions that I have to make now. But I'm really questioning where I'm going, working wise. Brigham has been supportive and wonderful on this. He just wants me to enjoy whatever I choose to do. I'm extrememly blessed to have him supporting me.

Doll Birthday Cake

This is my first time making a doll cake. It was chocolate with raspberry filling. I baked it in my mixing bowel. I didn't have a doll, so I sculpted one. It's my first attempt at sculpting with fondant and it's clear I need more practise. But I think for a first attempt it was awesome. So the only thing the little girl wanted was a pink dress cake. So I looked through my photos of wedding dress pictures and found this one. I love it!! So all in all I got to practice: figure sculpting, hand painting, fondant pleating, and fondant draping.

Dream Night at the Zoo

Last Friday the zoo had what they call Dream Night at the Zoo. They only let in kids and adults with handicaps and their families. We had Kiersi his IBI worker, and Grandma Anna come with us and we had a ton of fun. Kizzy absolutly hated the people dressed up as animals but for the first time Zeke went up and touched them. It was awesome. Zeke's favorite animal (well the only one he seemed interested in and looked at) was the lions. He said cat and roared. Kizzy absolutly loved herself as well. The only downfall was right at the end a huge thunderstorm hit. It's like someone had turned on a wind machine and a shower! We were soaked through!!

Down to our nothings, trampoline, sprinkler!

The kids have been jumping on the trampoline (or trampolampine as Kizzy says it) with the sprinkler on. It seems that any time we are out side jumping we have to strip down to barely anything or nothing. Quite the show at our house. Normally we have the trampoline hidden behind the house where there is a lilac hedge, and a big tree to kind of hide them if they strip. But when we have the sprinkler on we have to move the trampoline to where there is more grass so we don't have a mud puddle. Anyway here is our pictures for the month.

Kizzy's Preschool Graduation

Kizzy graduated from preschool! Brigham went and tooks such great pictures. The kids made their caps and gowns. They sang some songs (I've been working on the Railroad, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The days of the week), said the Pledge of Allegance (which she has memorized), recited their ABC's, and recived little certificates. I guess it was quite cute. I had to work but Zeke and Brigham were there.

Wedding Cake for 5-22-09

I made this wedding cake for a couple in our ward. In fact Brigham took over her sunday school class after she was married!! I've done this cake before so I wasn't really worried about making it. The problem occured when I tried to buy strawberries. I couldn't find them in 2 stores. Then I bought 8 containers of strawberries and didn't buy enough! Half hour before I was suppose to deliver it I had to run to the store to buy 2 more containers!! They loved it!!

Happy but Sad.

My Grandma Lois died Friday May 15, 2009; she lost the battle fighting liver cancer. She was a Strong independent woman who loved the Lord and who loved her family. Her death has been hard for me. I wasn't able to financially go to her funeral which is today. So I'm going to celebrate her life through my blog.

I have been told by several people that Grandma stood up for me. She saw some hard things I was going through and stood up for me, defending me and doing what was right for me. She came to my wedding even though things were rough between my family and me.

As a kid I remember her being the first one awake and she would go outside and sit on her dad's swing. (My mom owned it) We would wake up and run outside to sit with her and rock. She always said that she was a farm girl and her alarm clock told her she should be up early.

I know that things haven't always been easy for Grandma. She went through a divorce, a death of a husband, cancer 3 times. Yet through it all she still was a compassionate and loving woman. She radiated with the light of the Gospel. She loved to teach primary and gospel doctrine. I only got to go to one of her gospel doctrine classes and I was surprised with the amount of time and energy that she put into her lessons. She taught not only with her knowledge but with the power of the spirit. She was a temple worker as well and really enjoyed the temple. She told me it was the safest and easiest place to be. She said she could feel her Heavenly Father's love surround her when she was there.

I hope and I pray that she will know of my love for her. I truly am grateful she stood up for me, and supported me. I didn't learn about alot of things till I was older. I'm not sure she knew fully that I appreciated that.

I am truly blessed to have had her in my life. She was a wonderful woman who I hope to one day emulate. I am going to strive to be as compassionate and caring as she was. I want to have the gospel strong in my life as she did. I hope that my kids will remember how wonderful she was.

Even though her death is a sad event, I am happy that she gets to go see her Heavenly Father who she loved so much. This is something to rejoice, she gets to be reunited to people that she loved and lost.

Garden!

The garden is mostly in!!! We spent the weekend digging, measuring, building, running through the sprinklers, planting, has been so much fun and we are extremely tired, sore, burnt and excited.

Measuring- This may sound extremely funny but we measured out things for our garden to keep it straight and even. We ran our rows north to south, and the measured the rows and path ways, it really was quite funny. We would measure where we were going to put the rows for the corn, and mark it with a stick and then mark the other end of the row. Then take a string and tie it from stick to stick. I kept telling Brig that we didn't need to measure so much but I tell you that it looks amazing now! The rows are neatly spaced and are straight.

Digging- We had tilled the garden once with a tiller that was rented. But we really felt that in needed done some more. Part of the garden had been tilled before but the other part had never been done before. So we had borrowed Wayne's tiller. It hadn't been working so we decided we would just wait. Well after measuring the garden out Brig noticed that the tiller's carburetor was fixed so he started it up and it worked!! So we left the sticks in but removed all the yarn and tilled up the ground some more. Boy did that make a huge difference.

Building- We had bought fencing and borrowed posts from Wayne, and made a fence for our tomatoes and then another fence for the peas and cucumbers. Brigham also made me a box roughly 8'x 4'. It's going to be the herb garden. I've started some by seed and so far they don't look too bad. I'll let you know how it goes. I also got some Egyptian onions (like green onions), some garlic, and tarragon from my mom and they all seem to have made the transplanting journey from Kuna, Idaho.

Planting- This was the fun part for me. I have always loved putting my hands in the dirt and planting plants. We planted the squash, zucchini, pumpkin, watermelon, marigolds, herbs, tomatoes and cucumbers. I forgot about soaking the peas, corn and beans so I got those started soaking yesterday and will plant them tonight after work. I can't wait to see how things go!!

Running through sprinklers- I have the funniest kids. Neither one would actually run through the sprinklers but once the sprinkler was put under the trampoline the kids would jump and play. It was a bit of a struggle to get Zeke to stay dressed. He must have thought that clothes were such a bother wet. How do you explain modesty to someone who prefers to be naked? LOL!

Burnt- I think that Zeke and Brigham were the only smart ones. Even though Zeke kept stripping he didn't get burned. He kept going inside for a while then back out all day. So he just is nicely tanned. Brigham wore a hat and long pants. His arms are a bit brown/red but more brown than red. Kizzy spent more time outside than Zeke but still stayed in more than me. She is red in the face and slightly on the arms. I have extremely red arms and pink forehead. Well we all learned that sunscreen is an amazing gift and creation and we should have used it!!

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend. It was extremely fun and wonderful to work together to create the wonderful garden. We talked about it and we both realized that there was a bit of his ideas and a bit of mine. It was nice not to fight or complain that we weren't being listened to or heard. We just stepped back and realized that we work together well.

Weekend at Grandpa George's

We went to Caldwell, Idaho again this weekend. But this time for a completely different reason. We watched my dad graduate from his Masters Program at Northwest Nazarene College. We are super proud of him!!

We left later than we normally do on Friday and didn't get in till almost midnight.

As you can see from the pictures it sure doesn't take long before my kids stripped and then fell asleep. Brig and I listened to Harry Potter all the way there and back. I'm extremely lucky to have good kids who aren't to bad in the car.

As usual we had a ton of fun with my Dad and Marsha. They are such sweet spirited people who love to make you feel loved and cherished. You leave with no doubt in your mind that you are loved and cared for. Zeke and Kizzy both felt this and loved to play with them.

We went and saw my mom for a few minutes. Grandma Lois is dying and mom was rushing to leave but we had a good few minutes with her before they needed to leave. My heart goes out to my mom and hopes that she can accept whatever happens.

The graduation was a bit rough at first. Zeke did not want to go into the stadium where the graduation was. I think the speakers were too loud and there was too many people. I'm grateful that he fell asleep though so we didn't miss seeing my dad walk and gett hooded. He was one of the first people to graduate so we had to wait for almost everyone else. Brig and I had left early at Dad's Bachlor graduation and opened the door to let everyone in for the party afterward so we volenteered to do it again. The kids appreciated that. Again we left my dad's alot later than we normally do and didn't get home until midnight. But we had a wonderful time!!

A small window into 50 years!

I just saw a wonderful picture into 50 years from now. Brigham is out mowing the lawn using a riding lawnmower that was given to us. (Thanks Sarah you are wonderful) Kizzy and Zeke are jumping on the trampoline while making sure no kiddo decides to run away. It just made me smile to think that in 50 years, we could be doing the same thing. Brigham out mowing the lawn, me standing their making sure our grandchildren, or great grandchildren don't run away. It just seemed so peaceful and nice to see that something as simple as mowing the lawn and watching the kids could invoke such a wonderful feelings for the future.

Garden!!

We tilled the garden Saturday.(I'll post pictures when I get batteries for the camera!) Our Garden is about 25' x 30' and I'm not sure if we will use it all or not. It was quite funny Kizzy and Zeke where "helping" by playing in the dirt near the garden spot, and Brigham and I took turns using the rototiller. This one was different than one's I've used before. I'm use to the ones with the blades in the back and you just kinda walk behind it. Well this one had the blades in the front and you had to pull it. I found muscles that I'm sure I didn't even know I had! I could only do one row to every 2-3 of Brigham's! Why are men so much stronger? I always tease Brigham that he's a big baby when he's sore, and I tell you what, I was the big baby. I have whined and complained about being sore, and Brigham hasn't even commented! So not fair. Darn strong people anyway!!

We got the garden tilled right in time for it to rain! So all of the weeds and things that got tilled under we haven't had a chance to pull out. Hopefully we will do that tonight. I'm so excited to get things planted!!

CAKES!!!

I am so excited!! I have the chance to do 2 wedding cakes within the next few months. I'm super excited! This next week I am planning to make 3 cakes for my dad's graduation. A Choclate with Chocolate Fudge filling, a Lemon Poppyseed with Lemon Curd filling, and a Vanilla cake with Strawberry filling with Strawberries and chocolate ganache on top. I also have planned to make a "dummy" cake and enter it into the fair. There are 3 different catagories, Wedding cake, All-occasion, and sugar art flower. I'm going to enter into the wedding cake and the all-occasion this year. I'm going to take tons of pictures of everyones cakes and what I did so you all can see!! It's not until Labor Day but I'm planning like crazy so I can have it be perfect. The wedding cake theme this year is "Like a Wedding Dress" so I'm looking at the techniques I want to accomplish and finding a dress to match. The all-occassion cake theme is "Holiday" so I'm planning on making an earth day cake. Here are some of the pictures of dresses and cake ideas that I love.

Do realize that the cakes on here are just some of the techniques I want to use.

Dark Clouds Go Away!

I think the family has noticed that I've been a bit of a grouch lately. Since coming home from my family's house I have been struggling with a dash of depression. I keep feeling like I'm not good enough or that there is a huge dark cloud not allowing me to be happy about my self. Well, enough!! I am taking a stand! No more dark clouds and no more unhappy thoughts!! I'm bound and determined to make my life happy. No one can tell me to be happy. And no one can wave a magic wand and make me happy. It's a choice that you have to make. And darn it, I'm going to do it. Look out world here I come!!

Tired of being an adult!

I think one of the hardest things about being an adult is acting like one. I really struggle with this sometimes. I am one of those people who just is a little to blunt and outspoken so I end up saying things I really shouldn't have said. One of the arts of acting like an adult is have control over what you say. I really struggled this weekend. I really just wanted to yell and tantrum and have my feelings heard. It took alot of control to realize that I needed to act like an adult and set boundries, watch what I say, and stick to what I say. I'm not saying I did well this weekend but I sure tried.

What a weekend. We went to Caldwell, Idaho to visit my Dad and to help my sister move out of my mom's house. Things didn't go as planned. My sister is going to stay at my mom's house. It was very emotionally hard to have thing not work out. Things were said that were hurtful and rough to all that supported my sister.I hope things work out for her and the promises that where made are kept.

But regardless of that, we got to hang out with my Dad and Marsha. It was fun going to the zoo with them. Kizzy loved the monkeys and Zeke was just not feeling good. He ended up going through 5 daipers and was not as wild as he would have been. My dad is so great with my kids. Kizzy and him love to pick on eachother and play. Marsha loved playing with the kids too. Zeke also was great with Grandpa. It has taken alot of time to get Zeke and my dad to be able to sit and enjoy each other. I enjoyed seeing my dad, it was nice to just relax and have fun.

Kizzy and the Camera

Just thought I'd post a few pictures that Kizzy and I took today. She found our camera. She absolutlely loves to take pictures. Zeke loves the camra too. We have a ton of pictures of both of them trying to take pictures of themselves. But here are a few we played with this morning.

Playground

Friday we went to Tauphtus park. (Yes I know I'm spelling it wrong!) They have a handicap park, what I mean is handicap accessible. So they have swings, toys, sensory items, musical toys (a metal xylophone the kids can hit), it's all built and made especially for kids with physical and mental disabilites. It is an extremely fun park. One of Zeke's favorite things is the blue cushion they have underneath. So instead of sand or cedar chips they have this foamy pad thing. Zeke loves to run around without his shoes on.

Kizzy and Zeke loved being at the park. Kizzy loves the sand. She had it everywhere by the time we were done. Zeke had a ton of fun climbing. He gets told no climbing so much that when he's able to he just is a monkey. We had to bribe them that we would go eat if we left. Zeke still had some tears though.

The woes and sorrows of a four year old!

Monday and Tuesday were the best. Mom didn't have to go to work because Dr. Vance was sick. Mom asked if I wanted to go to Bekah's (my daycare) or to go home with mom. I wanted to go home with mom. I'm the "cleaner bee" this week in daycare so I helped mom by being a cleaner bee. We put on our aprons and washed the dishes. Mom lets me wash them then we put them in the dishwasher. I got to put the soap in and push the on button. We did laundry, mom carries the basket down stairs then I got to put the clothes from the washer to the dryer. I got hungry so I helped mom make chicken nuggets, ramen and ketchup. (Ketchup goes with everything right!) I was tired of helping so mom made me a deal. First I could pick a movie then mom could pick one. (I only wanted to watch Pokemon and mom wanted to watch Ariel) But I was sneaky I picked a Pokemon DVD that has lots of little Pokemon shows on it that lasts 3-4 hours. So I would go play with toys and watch Pokemon while mom cleaned. We had lots of fun. Mom played toys with me and she also was silly with me.

Wednesday I was sad. Dr. Vance was better and wanted mom to go back to work. I was sad, I loved being with mom. I cried and cried when mom dropped me off at Bekah's. But mom promised to spend lots of time with me on Saturday, we are going to fly our Pokemon Kites that the Easter Bunny brought us, if it's not raining.

Easter Egg Hunt!!

Sorry I didn't get these posted earlier!! We had an easter egg hunt at the Christensen Farms in Firth, Idaho. It was a lot of fun. We had told Zeke that he needed to pick up Eggs without realizing that they had other things (candy, capri suns, toys) on the ground as well. Zeke would bypass all the "Stuff" to get to eggs. He didn't get as many as Kizzy and Aryiah (Burkam's daughter) but he had a ton of fun. Kizzy was alot of fun too, she wanted to show us everything instead of picking up more candy and eggs.

Thanks Marsha for the cute hair bows Kizzy's wearing!!

Grandmas and Grandpas

What would we do without them?? They bake us cookies, cook, help us when we need saved from our parents!!

I'm grateful for Anna and her willingness to watch my kids when they are sick. She always says that her grandchildren are perfect, and when we laugh at her she points to the wall where Zeke has drawn and she says "Well he drew on the wall perfectly!" She willingly takes Zeke when he isn't the easiest kid to watch. I'm grateful for Wayne and his hugs and excitement that he shows my kids. He has made such a huge effort with Zeke to get Zeke to hug and sit by him.

I'm grateful for my Dad and for the constant comfort he is to me. When I'm stressed out or overwhelmed with my kids he's always reminding me what a good mom I am and how much I've changed. He also is so good with Zeke when he's around. Man you should see Dad and Kizzy! It is so funny, Kizzy will purposely do things to get Grandpa to react and Dad does the same back to her. They are going to be such great friends I think. I'm grateful for Marsha and her unselfishness and her enthusiasm that is contagious. She is always doing great things for my kids and is just wonderful.

I'm also grateful for my mom and for what she is able to do. She always askes about the kids and has great ideas.

What would we do without the Love and Support that these wonderful people are in our lives!! Thank you all!!

Sick!

We have been sick the past 2 weeks. I guess I mean Zeke and I have been sick. Zeke gets these awful high temperatures that also increase his seizure activity. We have been snotty and conjested and just miserable. Awful!! Mine got better after some antibiotics but Zeke's pediatrition won't put him on any because he probably doesn't need them? I don't know I'm not a doctor but I wish he would get better.

Kizzy keeps trying to join the fun and cough just because and tell us she's sick too. It's kinda funny. Brigham has also stayed healthy thankfully.

Master and Commander

Never in my life would I ever admit to being a girl. I think that some girls just are big wimps! "I can do whatever a guy could do" has always been one of my biggest motos of my life. It seems that this big macho girl has become a bit of a wimp. I don't like yucky things! Vomit, big bugs, snot/sniffing, mice, snakes, you know yucky things. It makes me realize that I have started to be more of a girl since I have a macho man now. He is the master of yucky things.

Since moving to the country we have had our share of mice and big bugs, I just don't handle those well. I am truely thankful that my husband is man enough to handle those things. He seems to smile at me and you can see the thought go through his head that I'm a wimp. But hey, one way of looking at it is I'm beeing needy and wanting to keep him around.

We all have our share of yucky things, some men hate poopy diapers and we as girls deal with those. As girls we wipe the snotty noses when kids are sick, we scrub the bathrooms, we do the gross laundry, so really how girly are we? I'd like to think this macho/girly girl has not only gained a few more yucky things that she can't handle but become more macho about some things as well.

Our Garden

We are so excited to have a garden this year. This is the first house we have been in that we could grow a garden. It's exciting to think about planting things, we are planning to grow: corn, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, zucchini, pumpkins, radishes, carrotts, peas, green beans, lettuce, and some herbs. If we can find onion bulbs we'll start them as well.

We have been really looking at what Anna's doing and copying. The wheather can't seem to make up it's mind. It seems to want to snow one minute and then be windy and rainy the next. We have had several really nice days where it gets in the high 40's and is sunny but it's still to wet to do anything with the garden. Anna says that most likely we will be planting over Memorial weekend. We are super excited.

We have started our peppers and tomatoes and most of our herbs by seed and they are getting really big! I'm super excited to see them grow. We are trying to set money aside so that we can buy canning materials. I personally don't own a canner of any sort or any jars! So that is one of our goals this summer. We are planning on making some salsa, possibly some canned tomatoes, spaghetti sauce. If we can find another freezer for a decent price we are talking about blanching alot of our veggies (peas, greenbeans, ect) and freezing them. I personally like frozen veggies to canned but I also haven't done this before either and so we will see what I actually do with them.
